14th KeY Symposium 2015
Gothenburg, 27th July - 29th July
The 2015 KeY symposium takes place in its 14th iteration. The KeY System is a formal software development tool integrating design, implementation, formal specification, and formal verification of object-oriented software. At the core of the system is a theorem prover for the first-order Dynamic Logic of the respective target language, in particular Java, with a user-friendly graphical interface.
The KeY Symposium brings together researchers interested in KeY and related aspects. We will exchange recent achievements, current ideas, discuss the next steps and milestones of the area, as well as future directions in general. Also the latest developments in the KeY tool are presented and discussed.
Venue
This year the KeY Symposium takes place in Gothenburg, Sweden. We will be in a very nice location, in the heart of Gothenburg, the old House of William Chalmers (1748-1811), who bequeathed his estate to the creation of an industry school which became Chalmers University of Technology. The address is Södra Hamngatan 11.
Practical Information
The House of William Chalmers is very central, probably in walking distance from your Hotel. Sill, you may want to use public transport, to get around in Gothenburg by tram and bus, or even for taking boats crossing the river, to see Gothenburg from the water. We recommend a 3-day ticket, for 170 SEK (that is 18 €). It is valid in all trams and buses, plus boats on the river Göta Älv, and even on the ferries to the islands of the southern archipelago. You can buy tickets in kiosks called 'Pressbyrån', which you find everywhere, including the airport and the central station. (The ticket is not valid in buses to/from the airport.)
The closest tram/bus stop to the House of William Chalmers is Brunnsparken, which is visited by almost all lines. See Gothenburg's tram map. (Currently, the stop Domkyrkan is closed due to construction work).
The door to the House of William Chalmers is normally closed. Please ring the bell, and tell that you are attending the KeY workshop.
